It selects birch plywood to materialize itself.

And shed its volume to keep only the essentials.

Eighteen millimeters, the thickness of the plywood, determines all the dimensions.

The cylinder becomes a stool.

It is a unity that has no distinction between the part and the whole.

 

A birch plywood panel, 18mm in thickness, is cut into 135 parts.

(1) circle shape, 360mm in diameter.

(1) gear shape, outer circle 360mm in diameter and inner 332mm with a circular ring sector every 90 degrees,

Central angle of 10 degrees with a circular hole, 10mm in diameter in the middle.

(1) ring shape, outer circle 360mm in diameter and inner 332mm, a circular hole on the center line of the ring every 90 degrees.

(132) circular ring sector shape of identical dimensions and holes in the middle as in the gear shape.

And four wooden rods, 630mm long and 10mm in diameter, unite all the parts.
